I had a blast!!!! I played 4 or 5 different tables with numerous dealers. The slots were not paying very well when I was there so I switched to blackjack. Yes, there is some smoke in the air but overall the casino does a good job with air circulation. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Folks that think this is pricey need to get out more. $109 was reasonable for the quality of the accommodations. I had a beautifully furnished deluxe king, non-smoking room. Highly recommend to all for the Tops in gaming we have found.Īfter seeing some of the negative reviews, I had to leave my humble opinion. Nice trip of about 2 hrs each way and with IPODS & Moody Blues, what more could we want since football is done now. And Have found an Excellent Casino in our own area with free ride there! We have tried all other NW AREA Casinos and know when we have found The Best of ALL!! Outstanding dealers as in Reno But so much easier and accessible from home! They have tournaments & top hand payouts on Sundays. With Southwest Air No longer going PDX to Reno direct in 90 min and elect to go thru Vegas or Phoenix and a 4 hour trip, we have quit Reno except for opening College FBall week end. Their website has ALL times and days, etc. The Sunday bus goes from the Pdx area about 9 AM & returns about 6 PM. We even have Spirit Mtn busses a few days a week for free 2 hour trip to this fine facility It has been going quite awhile But we just discovered it this past week. We have enjoyed our many trips to Spirit Mtn Casino with the fine buffet, large gaming rooms, smoke free areas And Most of all, The Great Poker Room.

After this last experience I realized that gambling really is better at the beach. While staying at the hotel I overhead the staff talking about having to put a room out because of bed bugs. I am surprised anyone wants to work in a place like this and be treated in this fashion. Most of the card dealers were super nice. I walked around to the different machines and played cards. The rest of the evening I stopped drinking the free soda as I didn't want security to come after me if I peed too much. They wanted the customer to sign paperwork that stated they were refusing medical care. The guest responded by explaining they had eaten at the buffet and now had to poop a lot. The security officer had to ask if the customer wanted an ambulance.

Someone had complained that the guest was taking too long in the bathroom. I think the most memorable part of my experience is when I was in the bathroom and a security officer had come to check on a customer.

I expect a few crabby people and workers as it is not a lot of fun to be in a smoke filled, people puking, and losing their money environment.
